Jane by design who is her mother

They approached their flighty, free spirited mother in two different but equally heart wrenching ways, which is something that I found to be interesting and true to the show. Ben gets to play a little bit against character and confront the repressed anger that he had been holding onto since the day his mother left, while Jane, ever the optimist and black-and-white thinker, seemed immediately ready to get to know the woman that she hardly knew.

Guest star Teri Hatcher did a fine job portraying Kate, giving her a well-meaning but ultimately ineffectual sense of playfulness and fun before letting the wall crumble at the end of the episode. For so long, the Quimby family has been Ben and Jane, so having that change and the routines they had established disrupted could really push the show to go to different places, scary places.

Billy finding out about Zoe being rich, Jeremy confessing to being the mole, etc. Rather than put all the cards on the table or calling India out on her faux threats, the show had Jeremy vanish into thin air and let Jane save the day, helping Eli and India remake the outfits that were going to be shown to Harrods.

Jane hits the hallways of her school when given a task to find the next big trend. Jane must keep an out of control model in check before a big Donovan Decker shoot. India has returned to work on an exclusive collection, while Jane hangs out with the new face of the collection, which puts a strain on her relationship with Billy. Jane thinks everyone forgot her birthday, but in reality, two parties are being planned for her.

With their mother back in town, Jane and Ben have very different reactions. With Ben and Kate away, Jane and Billy decide they have no choice but to throw a party. Then they have some lunch together, there Jeremy tries to kiss Jane, but Jane says no and asks him about India.

He says that him and India aren't a couple, just co-workers. On the night of the Formal and The Preview Party, Jane is going back and forth with Billy helping her out by staying a stall in the girl's bathroom with Jane's clothes and helping her get dressed.

She goes back and forth doing this until Jane forgets that she is wearing her Winter Formal dress. At the party one of the fashions rip and Jeremy makes the model wear Jane's dress. It becomes a big hit, even with Gray. Back at the Formal, everyone has left except for Billy, who drvies her home.

In the meantime, Jane is stuck between her double life. And, when her best friend starts dating her enemy, she feels lost. Billy is changing to fit Lulu's standards, much to Jane's dismay. You're right. I mean, maybe in some weird parallel universe, Lulu and I have something in common.

I love this. This job, it's the first thing I think of when I wake up in the morning and the last thing I think about every night. Do you have any idea what that is like? It sorta feels like I've gone from calculus to corporate espionage. Billy is Jane's best friend.

He helps Jane balance school and work. He sometimes tries to look at Jane while she is getting dressed, but fails because Jane ends up slapping him in the head Other than that there has been no sign of a Romantic Relationship. However, in the episode The End of the Line, Billy realizes his feelings for Jane with Tommy's help and runs off to tell her, but was interrupted when Jeremy arrives.
